Slot guides

These notes are for players comparing rand slot offers. They explain the machinery. They are not a catalogue of every game in the four reviewed lobbies.

• Slot types covers classic reels, video slots, ways games, clusters, hold-and-win and jackpot slots, and what to read in a paytable.
• RTP and volatility separates the long-run return from the shape of the wins, with a worked example labelled as arithmetic.
• Jackpot slots explains fixed prizes, progressives and contribution, and names the progressives White Lotus publishes.
• Free spins explained shows why the spin count is not the value, using the coupons checked on this site.

When you are ready to compare the casinos rather than the machinery, use the ranking. The score is explained on how we rate.
